Imagine you are a film buff. Probably, the biggest and one day you are given a chance to go to the La La Land of America, Los Angeles, what would your reaction be? Well, I FAINTED!! YES, and when I woke up, it was the best half-sleep EVER!!!
Los Angeles was undoubtedly my favorite of all the places I visited during my trip to ‘Merica. Even though I only spent only 2 days there, I saw pretty many things, did some amazing stuff and came across some breathtaking experiences, therefore, in this blog, I am so so excited to tell you how I spent my 2 gorgeous days in Hollywood.
Before L.A happened to me, I had heard bunch of bad stuffs about this place. Like, the traffic is horrible, people are rude and many other non-pleasant stuffs therefore my expectations weren’t on cloud 9. But once I landed, it was like I am Tom Hanks from ‘The Terminal’, confused yet so thrilled to step onto the stage!
That’s what L.A does to you… It turns you into a protagonist from an Oscar-winning movie. Whoever you wanna be. Be it Gerard Butler from ‘P.S. I Love You’ or Rudolph Valentino from ‘Blood and Sand’. It’s all about how creative you can be with your character inside your head.
P.S: I would literally kill to be Marlon Brando. :p OH THAT GUY!!! <3

Warner Bros. Studio
Warner Bros. offers 3 types of tours:
Studio Tour – This tour offers you access to many famous sound stages of WB. You will get to explore the outdoor and indoor sets which have created productions like THE BIG BANG THEORY, FRIENDS, GILMORE GIRLS, CASABLANCA, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and many many more great hits of all time. I personally loved this tour, I got to see Ross’s home, the famous Gilmore Girls’ Tree, Harry Potter’s wizard world set and Casablanca’s only left set.
You will also have exclusive access to original props and costumes from the famous hits. Your tour will also stop at the DC Universe – DC Comics Exhibit and the REAL CENTRAL PERK FRIENDS SET and the Batman Museum which also includes his amazing Bat Mobile collection. This tour lasts for about 2-3 hours.
Deluxe Tour – this tour included all the things stated in the above Studio tour and also it will give you access to many more sound stages and will take you back in time for you to relive the moment of how WB was created.
WB Studio History Tour – this tour will only include the part of how WB was created in 1923.
Tour tickets can be bought both online or at the counter.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame
If I must summarize this place, I would say GOLD. Yes, because this stretch of 2 kilometers holds the entire history of Motion Pictures, Television, Radio, Phonograph & Comedy. A star has it all.
I got the chance to get a picture with Tom Cruise’s & Johnny Depp’s doppelganger. Oh God they were almost real!!!!
The TCL Chinese Theatre
From premiering movies such as The King of Kings in 1927, to getting converted to the largest IMAX auditorium in the world, The TCL Chinese Theatre welcomes atleast 4 million tourists from all over the world. Built at a cost of $2 Million at that time, this attraction is a must visit on the Hollywood Boulevard. No matter what, WATCH A MOVIE HERE to make the best out of your visit.
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
After you are done clicking SELFIES with solid star shaped floors, its better you decide to go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. This is my 6th visit to a wax museum but it was also the 600th time when I was clicking pictures of each and every statue in the museum. It felt so glamorous among those fake statues of Jimmy Fallon or Forest Gump.
It’s a must visit place at the Hollywood Boulevard.
Undoubtedly, one of the most famous streets in LA pretty well known from one of the greatest films of all time, Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gerd.
The street known for its insanely luxurious stores is a three block stretch which is also known as the Golden Triangle.
I still remember my favorite scene shot here, when Julia Roberts is kicked out of an expensive boutique because she looked like she could not afford it and then she comes back the next day with dozen many shopping bags and yells, “Big Mistake. Big! Huge!”. I am sure I have seen this movie more than 10 times.
I have always been a WB fan but that does not mean other production studios does not make good movies or don’t work hard enough on a movie. Universal Studio is another big GIANT when it comes to production studios. Some of the great movies were created right here in this studio like Psycho, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, etc. if I sit down to name all of them, this blog will become the most boring one ever or MAYBE the most exciting one :p. Depends on your interest.
Being a film buff, a theme park lover and an insane Harry Potter lover, I just had to be excited about the fact of visiting The Universal Studios.
PS: You will also see the “City Hall” from “Back to the Future”.
Griffith Observatory is on the edge of the hill from which you get a spectacular view of the city of Los Angeles. Also, the telescope lets you to witness the entire city very nicely like the downtown St. Monica Mountains and the world famoussssssss Hollywood Sign that sits on the edge of another hill. It’s not only about the views but also the famous architecture. Oh Gosh I loved the wall mural (if it was one :p) just above the Faucault Pendulum as soon as you enter the Observatory. You can experience the “Gateway to Cosmos” and “Samuel Oschin Planetarium”.
PS: One entire song from La La Land was shot here.
